Alexandre Perrin is Professor of Music Business at Berklee College of Music, Valencia (Spain) campus. Alexandre teaches mostly quantitative-based modules in the Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and in the undergraduate program (Berklee Abroad). After a business management degree, Alexandre has worked as a strategy consultant for international firms such as Amadeus, Lafarge or Siemens. He holds a Philosophical Doctorate from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis about the use of data and information in globalized firms and he has published multiple book chapters, pedogogical case studies and in peer-reviewed journals on that topic. He also received an online certificate from MIT Professional Education on data science and a specialized master in business intelligence and knowledge management from Skema Business School. At Berklee College of Music he is the founder of the Berklee Case Centre, a group of faculty whose mission is to foster the creation and the use of case studies in the classroom. He is the host of the annual European Do-It-Yourself Musician Conference (300 professional participants). He is the recipient of the 2010 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award and received the distinguished faculty award at Berklee for the academic year 2016-2017.
