Sara Gozalo, a Telecommunications engineer, with over 10 years in non telecommunications industries such as digital media and music technology. Sara is actually working as International Lead for the Music Partner Technology team at YouTube Music, where she & her team deal with music labels across EMEA & APAC from a technical point of view. Previously, Sara worked at the BBC as Senior Software engineer and Innovation lead for the BBC Music & Radio team. Keeping the music team closer to the tech industry.
Sara is also a big advocate of the startup and innovation world, and you can find her relaxing at Startup Weekends or Hackathons on the weekends.
When Sara is not on her laptop, she enjoys rock climbing, playing the clarinet and piano, or seeing others make real music in gigs and festivals. She has recently started to push on her limits and she is learning how to surf, how to skate and how to speak French.
